How much is Search Engine Marketing going to cost me?
That's the beauty of AdWords; you define your spending based on profitability. We won't tell you that you "have" to spend a certain amount of money. Remember, every industry is different. If you are an electrical contractor with a $1,000.00 budget, we would consider that more than reasonable to "get your feet wet". That all depends on your budget. The higher your budget, the lower our "management" fee is. For a monthly budget of one-thousand dollars or less, we generally charge a 20% management fee. Spend upwards of five-thousand dollars per month and we'll lower that to 10%.
If your monthly advertising budget was one-thousand dollars, one-thousand dollars is paid to Google directly by you and Giant Owl will send you an invoice for two-hundred dollars, it's that simple.
In most cases and if needed, we'll even provide you with one of our turnkey websites to use throughout your advertising campaigns.
How much business will I get from AdWords advertising?
That question is impossible to answer as there are plenty of other variables to consider. Did a potential customer see your ad, click-through to your website, call you but you did not take the call? Well, that potential customer likely continued to shop around and might have went with one of your competitors. Perhaps your pricing is higher than some of your competitors and the potential customer is not willing to pay a higher rate. Once you call us and we know what industry you're in as well as the geographic location, we will better understand your individual circumstances and can answer questions a bit more freely.
How do I know that you are paying Google my full budget? Will you provide access to AdWords?
We will provide you with full access to the AdWords account we create for you. This is how you can verify your spending directly with Google, without taking our word for it.
Most of our competitors will take your one-thousand dollar monthly budget, run your campaigns using non-targeted keywords only to get your phone ringing off the hook. By doing that, your conversions will be extremely poor but the agency managing your AdWords campaigns will get to say that they generated hundreds of phone calls for you. What's even worse? They will provide you with access to their own advertising system and "claim" they paid Google a certain amount on your behalf.
We provide you with direct access to AdWords right on Google's website. If your monthly budget is one-thousand dollars and our management fee is two-hundred dollars, when you login to AdWords, you will clearly see that one-thousand dollars went to Google for your AdWords campaigns.
What is call tracking and why do I need it?
It's simple. Let's assume you have a website and you advertise in some local newspapers, magazines, run some online ads and have your web address on your business cards, vehicles and more. Well, all of those people that eventually hit your website will call your phone number directly. When we run your AdWords campaigns and send potential customers to that same website, they will also call that same number leaving you no way to know what calls are being generated from your advertising sources.
Our preference is to mirror your existing website and put one of our call tracking numbers on the website. We then direct your AdWords campaigns traffic to that mirrored website so those potential customers call the call tracking number, which gets forwarded to any number you choose. With this, you will know exactly what calls are being generated from AdWords without having to ask callers "how did you find us?". Truthfully, no one has time for that.
